How To Repair A Soundboard Power Unit

I similar to become for connector bug first earlier looking for board repairs, it helps to keep from chasing your tail (so to speak).

I'm not existent up to speed with sound boards like I am on other parts of Organisation 80 simply I'll endeavor to aid. Posted are sound board exam procedure pics of pg.18 in the Blackness Hole transmission (if you lot don't take it). Co-ordinate to what I see there, when you hear a "fail" over and over, this would betoken to me that one or more of the sound lines are missing to the audio lath. I think I'd install new crimps in the A6J1 and A3J5 connectors since they always looked tarnished/cooked (I don't like the punch pivot type of connector anyway, they fail as well much).

If you notwithstanding take the "fail" problem later on those connections are solid, have a await at Z13 (7404) on the A3 driver lath.

If that looks good, you lot volition take to meter examination the input sound lines (1, 2, 4 & 8 ) from Z13 through the A3J1 to A1J4 connector upward to Z31 on the A1 CPU board. Install new crimps in the connector if you lot accept a break in the line there and re-can the 4 left pads on the component side of the lath (these are the sound lines).

If y'all still have problems, look at Z31 (7408) on the A1 CPU board, it is the sound control for the game. If you go all the way through this and still have a problem, that would indicate that all is now practiced and and then it'll be time to dig into the sound lath for the problem.
